Itinerary:
Day 1 – Tbilisi → Northern Armenia. Hike
We start from Tbilisi with a pickup from your hotel and drive towards the Sadakhlo border. After crossing into Armenia, we can exchange money and get local SIM cards if needed. Our first sightseeing stop is Haghpat Monastery, followed by Sanahin Monastery and the old abandoned cable car station. Later, we drive to Odzun and begin a hike towards Kobayr Monastery, following trails through the beautiful Debed Canyon. Overnight in Alaverdi, Hagvi Resort, or nearby, depending on availability. Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch boxes.

Day 2 – Lake Sevan → Selim Pass → Yeghegnadzor
After breakfast, we drive towards Lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank Monastery, with beautiful views over the lake. We continue to Noraduz Cemetery, known for its historic khachkars (stone crosses), and then drive over Selim Pass to visit the medieval Selim Caravanserai, an important stop on the ancient Silk Road. We continue to Yeghegnadzor, where we check in and have free time to relax and explore the town. Overnight in Yeghegnadzor. dinner, breakfast, lunch boxes.
Day 3 – Tatev & Goris. Hike
After breakfast, we drive to Devil’s Bridge and visit it early in the morning, before it gets busy. From Devil’s Bridge, we hike towards the Tatev Hermitage and then descend into Devil’s Canyon. We continue to Tatev Monastery and take the Wings of Tatev cable car for the return journey, enjoying spectacular views over the Vorotan Gorge. Afterwards, we drive to Goris, with a sightseeing stop at the entrance of the town. In Goris, we take a short loop hike starting from the old cemetery, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Overnight in Goris. Meals: Breakfast + lunch box + dinner.

Day 4 – Khndzoresk → Khor Virap → Yerevan. Short walk
After breakfast, we visit Khndzoresk and walk down to the old trail and historic cave settlement. The walk takes approximately 40 minutes. We then drive towards Khor Virap Monastery, one of Armenia’s most famous landmarks, with spectacular views towards Mount Ararat. After visiting Khor Virap, we continue to Yerevan and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore Yerevan. You can walk around the city, visit local cafés and restaurants, or simply relax. Overnight in Yerevan. Meals: Breakfast included. Dinner at your own choice in a local café or restaurant.
Day 5 – Garni, Symphony of Stones & Geghard. Short walk
After breakfast, we drive to Garni and begin a scenic 3 km downhill hike from Garni to the Symphony of Stones, a spectacular natural rock formation in the Azat Gorge After exploring the gorge, we continue to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site carved into the surrounding cliffs. We then drive back to Yerevan and have the rest of the day free to explore the city, visit cafés and restaurants, or relax. Overnight in Yerevan. Meals: Breakfast included.
Day 6 – Mount Aragats South Peak → Gyumri. Hike
After breakfast, we drive to Kari Lake, located at around 3,200 m above sea level. From the lake, we begin our hike to the South Peak of Mount Aragats, one of Armenia’s highest and most impressive mountains. The trail gradually climbs through the volcanic landscape towards the South Peak. The final section is steeper and more rocky, but no technical climbing is required in normal conditions. From the summit, you’ll have panoramic views across the Aragats massif and surrounding Armenian highlands. After the hike, we drive to Gyumri, Armenia’s cultural capital. Check in at the hotel and enjoy dinner and free time in the evening. Meals: Breakfast + dinner.

Day 7 – Gyumri → Yerevan Airport or Tbilisi
After breakfast, enjoy some free time to explore Gyumri at your own pace. You can walk through the historic streets built with local black tufa stone, visit a local gallery, and explore the old city center. Afterwards, we drive to the Iron Fountain for a short visit before continuing towards your final destination. From here, you can choose to finish the tour at Yerevan Airport or continue by private transfer to Tbilisi.
