General requirements

Before you book a tour with Weekend Travelers Georgia LLC further WT Georgia, you must make sure that: 

a) You and persons traveling with you have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months, visas, and all other necessary documentation for the countries you visit with us. We do not offer visa assistance, and we do not accept responsibility if your documents are not in order.

b) You have sorted out travel arrangements to the tour starting point. We are happy to arrange your airport transfer. But you are responsible for booking your flights and informing us about your arrival and departure times and flight changes. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any flight changes or delays and their impact on your itinerary.

c) You informed us about any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions that members of your party may have. Please ensure to do that at the point of booking. We must have enough time to adjust the itinerary to your needs or recommend another tour if the one you chose does not suit your needs.  

d) You have travel insurance. 

WT Georgia’s cancellation policy

If you book a group tour with us, we must receive a full tour payment at the point of booking.

In the case of private tours, we charge a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the tour price at the point of booking. Balance must arrive in our account, at the latest, 48 hours before the tour departure date.

You may cancel your holiday at any time.

If you cancel 30 days or more before the tour, we will refund 70% of the tour price.

If you cancel 29 days or less before the tour starts, you will not receive any refunds.

Amount agreed is the NET price. You are responsible for all bank charges. 

Itinerary changes or cancelation by WT Georgia

Occasionally, we may need to make changes to your itinerary. We reserve the right to do so at any time. We will notify you of any changes at the earliest possible opportunity. 

If a major change to your itinerary is necessary, providing it does not arise from circumstances beyond our control, you may choose (i) to accept the change of arrangements (ii) to purchase another tour from us, or (iii) to cancel your tour.

You won’t be offered any compensation if the changes or cancellation was caused by Acts of God (Force Majeure) such as war, the threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or man-made disaster, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports, strikes or other industrial action, adverse weather conditions, or any other event beyond WT Georgia’s control. You must have adequate travel insurance.

WT Georgia’s group tours require a “minimum number of clients” for the trip to occur. This minimum is mentioned in each itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday any time before the date of departure if the minimum has not been reached. In this case, we will fully refund the money you have already paid, excluding bank charges. No compensation will be payable.

WT Georgia also has the right to refuse any person as a tour member if, in our opinion, that person could endanger the health, safety, and enjoyment of others.

Insurance and risks

WT Georgia disclaims all liability for injuries occurring during the tours/hikes /treks. We recommend all our clients purchase adequate travel insurance or ensure that their current health insurance covers hiking/ trekking in the country.

When booking our tours, you automatically acknowledge that the nature of our tour products is adventurous and may involve a certain amount of risk to your health and/or safety. There are dangers inherent to adventure travel generally. By confirming your tour booking, you acknowledge you have considered such risks to health and safety and are willing to assume it to the full extent legally possible.

Clients agree that they are responsible for any costs incurred due to damage, destruction, theft, or excess cleaning fees caused or occasioned by the client while on tour. You also agree to immediately report any pre-existing damage of this kind to staff of the accommodation, transportation service, facility, or WT Georgia’s representatives as soon as possible.

Complaints

If there is a complaint during the tour, you must immediately contact our representatives so that they can take action to solve the problem. We are not responsible for any complaints not reported in time.

Any dispute that may arise will be governed by Georgian law. Both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the Georgian Courts.

Data protection and privacy policy

WT Georgia is committed to ensuring that your private information remains private. We collect information in several ways. When making information requests, we ask you for your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, and other relevant information needed to make vacation and travel plans.
We obtain such information only to the extent necessary for conducting business and through a lawful and reasonable manner. We use and/or provide such information only within the limits of the stated purposes.

Your information is kept confidential and passed only to the suppliers if they must know this information to fulfill WT Georgia’s contract with you. We do not pass it to any outside company for marketing or solicitation purposes. WT Georgia will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information at any time to anyone.

WT Georgia’s website may contain links to other websites. Please note that if you click on one of these links, you are moving to a third-party website. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites as their privacy policy may differ from ours. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We strive to protect your personal information. But we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and any information you submit online is done voluntarily and at your own risk. Once we receive your data, we strive to ensure its security on our systems. No personal information is stored on our website.

Marketing materials

By booking our tour, you agree that you may appear in photos or videos taken by other clients and WT Georgia’s representatives during the trip. You also grant a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to WT Georgia and its affiliates to reproduce these photos and videos for any purpose whatsoever (including marketing and promotions) without any further obligation to the client or compensation payable to the client.
