Urban Climbing Tbilisi at the Monument (Beginner Friendly) – 29 August
Lotkini Monument is Tbilisi’s most unique outdoor climbing spot. Unfinished Soviet-era concrete monument has been transformed into a safe urban climbing area by the Georgian climbing community suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.
Date: 29 August
Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours. You are welcome to stay for the entire day, but if you feel tired or have climbed enough, you can leave at any time.
Trip difficulty: Beginners, Moderate, Kids friendly.
Group size: Min 3 Participants. If we don’t have enough people we will fully refund.

directions – You can jump off the taxi down on the main street and hike up the hill in the woods to reach the monument. If you cant, Instructors can meet you at the street. Taxi location names are: khudadovi 115 or Uiarago 66.

The climbing wall offers:
- 20–40 meter climbing routes.
- Beginner-friendly and intermediate routes (mostly grades 5a–6b).
- Stunning panoramic views over Tbilisi from the top.
- A unique opportunity to experience outdoor climbing without leaving the city.
Our instructor will provide all the necessary climbing equipment, explain basic climbing techniques, and ensure you are safely belayed throughout the climb. No previous climbing experience is required.

- Climbing shoes: If you have climbing shoes, please bring them. If not, you can climb in your regular sneakers.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE TOUR
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear comfortable sports clothing suitable for the weather. Temperatures at the climbing area are usually a few degrees cooler than in central Tbilisi, so please bring a light jacket or fleece. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are recommended on sunny days.You may want to bring a small blanket or mat if you’d like to sit on the grass and relax after climbing.A small backpack is recommended to carry your personal belongings.
FOOD & DRINKS
Always make sure you have enough drinking water. 1.5 – 2 liters should be enough for the day.
