Join us on our new Tbilisi Armenian Heritage Tour. Armenians began to migrate to the Georgian lands in the Middle Ages and, by the 19th century, formed the single largest group of Tbilisi population. The city became the center of cultural life of Armenians from early 19th century to early 20th century. During our 3-hour-long walk we will explore a number of sites connected to the Tbilisi Armenian community. We will stroll the streets of Avlabari and Old Tbilisi in search of traces of Armenian heritage. You won’t believe how many of the most recognizable buildings in town had once Armenian owners.
