Itinerary:

We will leave Tbilisi in the morning and head on the Georgian Military Road to Kazbegi. Our hike will start in the picturesque Juta village. The most difficult is the initial stage of the trail, which involves a relatively steep ascent. Juta is famous for its alpine meadows, roaring rivers, and crystal-clear waterfalls. On our hike, we will aim to reach an alpine lake located almost exactly at the bottom of Chaukhi. Time permitting, we will also enjoy a walk to a nearby waterfall. The hike includes crossing the river. In the afternoon, we will return to Tbilisi. Time permitting, we will stop on the way to try traditional Georgian dishes in a local restaurant Pasanuri.

Please be on time. In case of any delays, please inform your guide. Otherwise, the group will depart without you.

WEATHER

Georgian weather changes often and fast. For this reason, it's essential to follow the weather forecast closely. Here is the weather forecast.

Please check it the night before the tour to be well prepared.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please wear clothes appropriate to the weather. Hiking boots are a must. We also recommend walking poles. Bring jackets. We will be crossing a river. It won't be very deep, so we might get away with dry boots. Still, it's a good idea to bring a spare pair just in case.
