Itinerary:

We will leave Tbilisi early in the morning and head to Gudauri Ski Resort. Upon arrival, we will head to the Ski Rental Shop and get everyone fitted out with correctly fitted skis, boots, helmet and poles. We will then walk across to the main gondola and with our ski pass head up to the slopes. Gudauri has several restaurnts and bars, where you can get a break from skiing. Alternatively, if time permits, we might visit a local restaurant on the way back to Tbilisi. Return to Tbilisi in the evening. The end of the tour.

How to prepare for the tour

MEETING TIME AND PLACE

We will meet at 09:00 at  Samaia Garden.

Please be on time. In case of any delays, please inform your guide. Otherwise, the group will depart without you.

 

WEATHER

Georgian weather changes often and fast. For this reason, it's essential to follow the weather forecast closely. Here is the weather forecast. Please check it the night before the tour to be well prepared.   

 

WHAT TO WEAR

Please wear clothes appropriate to the ski resort. ski trousers, ski jacket, gloves, a hat.. bring sunscreen, sunglasses  

 

FOOD & DRINKS

Always make sure you have enough drinking water. 1.5-2 liters should be enough for the day. Make sure to bring snacks - sandwiches, dried fruit, and sweets. They will help you maintain your energy level.  Gudauri has a couple of restaurants where you can drop by for lunch.

 

OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS

If you are prone to motion sickness, please have medicine with you. Bring a day pack to carry small items with you.
