Itinerary:
We will leave Tbilisi in the morning and head on the Georgian Military Road to Gudamakari Gorge. This lovely, remote region is a small historical geographic area stretched on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains along the Aragvi River. Our hike will start near Kitokhi Village from where we will follow an earth road into the valley. Our goal will be Chokhi – the natural center of the upper part of Gudamakari Gorge. A famous Georgian writer and filmmaker, Goderdzi Chokheli, was born here. From the village, we will enjoy views of the peaks of Shirimi Mountain (3201 m) and Eastern Chaukhi (3644 m). We will also visit a local family to eat delicious homemade lunch. Return to Tbilisi. The end of the tour.
