Gomismta Overnight Tour – 24-25 Aug

After a long break, we are back with tour to Gomi Mountain (Gomismta). Let’s get beyond the clouds!

Accommodation: Shared rooms (4-5 pax) in a shalter or tents (If you don’t have your own camping equipment, we will assit with rental)

Drop-off: Sun, around 21:00 (The arrival time will depend on the group’s speed and traffic)

Itinerary:

Day 1
Tbilisi – Gomismta  

We will leave Tbilisi early in the morning and drive to Ozurgeti municipality in Guria. It’s a long drive so we will take plenty of stops to stretch our legs. Our objective will be to reach Gomismta – a small mountain resort located on the northern slope of the Meskheti Range. Gomista lies at 2100 m.a.s.l. and is famous for its could views. In good weather, an ocean of clouds stretches below the village, spoiling visitors with breathtaking scenery. We will spend the night in a shelter, sharing community rooms. If you prefer to stay separately, you can bring a tent and camp nearby. 

Day 2
Gomismta – Tbilisi

In the morning, we will prepare our breakfast. We will take time to stroll around the town and take photos. Later, we will head back to Tbilisi, again taking our time to stop and enjoy the landscape. Return to Tbilisi. The end of the trip.
