The Apollo Cinema in Tbilisi is an iconic, yet abandoned building with a rich history that reflects the cultural and architectural heritage of Georgia’s capital. Located in the heart of Tbilisi, near the city’s bustling Rustaveli Avenue, the Apollo Cinema holds a special place in the history of Georgian cinema and urban architecture. Itinerary:
Day 1
Tbilisi – Gomismta – Ozurgeti
We will leave Tbilisi early in the morning and drive to Ozurgeti municipality in Guria. It’s a long drive so we will take plenty of stops to stretch our legs. Our objective will be to reach Gomismta – a small mountain resort located on the northern slope of the Meskheti Range. Gomista lies at 2100 m.a.s.l. and is famous for its cloud views. In good weather, an ocean of clouds stretches below the village, spoiling visitors with breathtaking scenery. We will spend evening watching sunset there. at night we will go back to Ozurgeti town to our guesthouse.
Day 2
Gomismta – Tbilisi
In the morning after breakfast. we will head back to Tbilisi, again taking our time to stop and enjoy the landscapes. we might visit Zestaphoni waterfall or have a lunch stop on the way. Return to Tbilisi. The end of the trip.

Please wear clothes appropriate to the weather. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Days in Gomismta are still warm but nights can be cool. Make sure to have a warmer layer of clothes with you.

Always make sure you have enough drinking water. 1.5–2 liters should be enough for the day. Please bring something to eat to snack.
