SUMMARY:Tbilisi Bunker Tour - 11 July
DESCRIPTION:Visit a real Soviet bunker located beneath the streets of Tbili
 si.\n\n\nTbilisi bunkers create an underground city beneath the capital's s
 treets. During the Cold War\, the Soviet Union allocated a large budget to 
 prepare for nuclear and other attacks. Under Tbilisi alone\, there are abou
 t 450 bunkers\, one of which includes a large control panel to provide comm
 unication with bunkers below other Georgian cities.\n\n\nDuring our tour th
 rough the Tbilisi bunker\, we will learn how such facilities were heated\, 
 where they were getting water from\, and how they communicated with each ot
 her. We will also have an opportunity to take a closer look at the technolo
 gy used to measure radiation and protect it from its impact.\n \n\n\nDate:
