 he “Rainbow” hills. There is no clear walking path\, and the terrain co
 nsists of sand and gravel. We recommend wearing proper hiking shoes to avoi
 d slipping.\n\n \n\nItinerary:\nWe will leave Tbilisi early in the morning
  and head to Mravaltskaro Reservoir. Mravaltskaro is famed for the colorful
 \, rainbow-like hills surrounding it. We will also visit Natlismtsemeli Mon
 astery. The complex was originally established at the end of the 7th centur
 y. Nowadays\, it’s one of the main pilgrimage sites in the region.\nFinal
 ly\, we will reach David Lavra – the main section of David Gareja Monaste
 ry Complex\, founded in the 6th century (Please be aware that the monastery
  is partly on the territory of Azerbaijan. Some parts are unavailable for s
 ightseeing). Time and weather permitting\, we will also stroll across the 
 “Rainbow Hills” surrounding the shrine.\nWe will finish our trip with i
 n a local restaurant in Udabno. The meal is NOT included in the price of th
 e tour. You can order it a la carte. Return to Tbilisi. The end of the tour

 epart without you.\nWEATHER\nGeorgian weather changes often and fast. For t
 his reason\, it’s essential to follow the weather forecast closely. Here 
 is the weather forecast. Please check it the night before the tour to be we
 ll prepared.\nWHAT TO WEAR\nPlease wear clothes appropriate to the weather.
 Hiking boots or sports shoes with a good grip are recommended.\nGeorgian cu
 stoms require a strict dress code in monasteries. Women are obliged to cove
 r their heads and legs. We recommend bringing one or two scarves for that p
 urpose. Otherwise\, you will have to wear communal clothes. Men must wear l
 ong trousers.\nIt can be muddy at rainbow hills. Having extra shoes are com
 fortable. Bring raincoats.\nFOOD & DRINKSAlways make sure you have enough d
 rinking water. 1.5 liter should be enough for one day.Please bring snacks.
