 ng\, we will head to the Samtskhe-Javakheti region in southwest Georgia. Ou
 r destination will be the area of Lake Paravani and Ninotsminda.\nSince the
  19th century\, this area has been home to Doukhobors – a Spiritual Chris
 tian ethnoreligious group exiled from the Russian empire for their nonortho
 dox beliefs. By the end of the 19th century\, there were around 10\,000 Dou
 khobors in Georgia. Many of them left the country following the collapse of
  the Soviet Union.\nDuring this trip\, Our local host will meet us and we w
 ill have an opportunity to look at the architecture Doukhobors left behind.
  We will visit the Doukhobor community center in Gorelovka village. It was 
 once the house of Peter Kalmykov\, son of Illarion Kalmykov (the first lead
 er of the Doukhobors that settled in the area in 1841). We will also have l
 unch with a local family.\nOn the way back to Tbilisi\,we will stop at Poka
  convert shop. Return to Tbilisi in the evening. The end of the tour.\n \n
