  and other villages.\n \nItinerary:\nDay 1Tbilisi – Gombori Pass – Lec
 huri – Abano Pass – Shenako - Diklo - Omalo\nWe will depart Tbilisi ver
 y early in the morning. Our drive will take us over Gombori Pass to the foo
 thills of the Great Caucasus. Once we reach the village of Lechuri\, we wil
 l turn off the asphalt road and follow an unpaved mountain route towards Ab
 ano Pass – the highest driveable mountain pass in the Caucasus (2\,826 m.
 a.s.l.). Prepare for an EXTREMELY scenic yet DIFFICULT ride. It will take u
 s a minimum of 3 hours to climb to the top of the pass and another 2 or 3 h
 ours to reach our guesthouse. Upon arrival in Tusheti\, we will head to our
  guesthouse in Omalo before exploring the area. e will visit the picturesqu
 e St. George Church in Shenako village and hike to the ruins of the Diklo F
 ortress. \n \nDay 2Dartlo - Kvavlo tower - Bochorda - Panorama\nToday\, W
 e will explore fortified village of Dartlo\, hike to the remote Kvavlo\, an
 d explore nearby settlements. You will have plenty of opportunities to enjo
 y the local cuisine. You can go on a horse ride (optional) in the afternoon
  too. Goat Panorama – a scenic viewpoint from which lucky visitors might 
 be able to spot wild mountain goats. Next\, we will head to Bochorna – th
 e highest settlement in Europe (2\,345 m.a.s.l.).\n \nDay 3Omalo – Abano
  Pass – Lechuri – Tbilisi\nOur last day in Tusheti will we will head ba
 ck toward Tbilisi. Short breaks at scenic spots will help us to ease the ri
 de. We will also stop to eat late lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Tb

 HE TOUR\n\nMEETING TIME AND PLACEWe meet 07:00 at Samaia Garden. Please be 
 on time. In case of any delays\, please inform your guide. Otherwise\, the 
 group will depart without you.\nDOCUMENTSPlease bring your valid PASSPORTS 
 to access some areas. Please bring them with you to show them to the border
  guards.\nWEATHERGeorgian weather changes often. For this reason\, it’s e
 ssential to follow the weather forecast closely. Here is the forecast link.
   Please check it the night before the tour to be well prepared.\nWHAT TO 
 WEARPlease wear clothes appropriate to the weather. Bring layers. The days 
 are warm in Tusheti\, but the evenings get chilly. Additionally\, you will 
 cross Abano Pass at an altitude of 2826 m a.s.l. It gets cold up there. You
  will need touring shoes (or trail shoes/trekking shoes) may come in handy.
  Bring sun cream\, hats\, and sunglasses to protect from the sun. Wear comf
 ortable walking/ sports shoes for the hikes. Just in case\, you may also pa
 ck a raincoat.\nROAD TO TUSHETIIt’s long\, bumpy\, and requires many hour
 s in the car. It may even get scary if it runs along a deep canyon. If you 
 are prone to motion sickness\, bring the meds and take them 1h before the r
 ide. We will be taking plenty of stops to take photos and to rest. If you n
 eed to stop\, let your guide know. We’ll stop as soon as they find a good
  place for that.\nFOOD & DRINKSAlways make sure to have enough drinking wat
 er. 1.5-2 liters should be enough for Day 1. Also\, make sure to bring snac
 ks - sandwiches\, dried fruit\, and sweets for the road. They will help you
  maintain your energy levels. Amazing homemade Georgian cuisine is included
  in the price of the tour. We will eat them in your guesthouse. The price d
 oesn’t cover lunches\, but you may order them locally. There are no super
 markets in Tusheti. We will be eating homemade Georgian cuisine. Please let
  us know if you have food limitations well in advance. We will let you know
  to what degree we can accommodate you. The food choice is limited. If you 
 are vegetarian\, you cannot go without\, please bring it with you.\nBRING C
 ASHThere are NO ATMs in Tusheti\, and people accept only cash. Local costs 
 up to 25- 65 GEL per person. You may also want to spend on local souvenirs 
 (20-50 gel) or an optional horse ride.\nOTHERDo not expect to have mobile c
 overage everywhere. Due to motion sickness\, please avoid using your phone.
  Bring a day pack to carry important items with you. Be prepared that peopl
 e are conserving electric energy\, which they mostly get from solar panels.
  You may experience issues with heaters\, phones\, and hot water\, as well
