 e forest along a small stream. Hikers must cross the creek several times. T
 he path leads slightly uphill\, but the ascent is very manageable.\n\n \n\
 nItinerary:\n\n\nWe will leave Tbilisi in the morning and head to Tana Vall
 ey\, also known as Ateni Sioni Gorge. On the way\, we will stop to visit Up
 listsikhe\, an ancient rock-hewn settlement built on the bank of the Mtkvar
 i River. From Uplistikshe\, we will drive to Ateni Sioni\, an early 7th-cen
 tury church famous for beautiful frescoes.\n\n\nFinally\, we will reach the
  starting point of our hike. We will follow a narrow path leading through w
 ild meadows and forests. On the way\, we will cross a small creek several t
 imes. Usually\, the water is shallow\, but you may still need to remove you
 r shoes. Once we reach Biisi Waterfall\, we will have time to relax and tak
 e photos. In winter\, Biisi is often fully frozen and offers stunning winte
 r views.Return to Tbilisi in the evening. The end of the trip.\n\n \nInclu

 llenging. But it includes several shallow stream crossings. Wear proper hik
 ing boots.  if its winter please wear layers. bring extra shoes and leave 
 it in the car. Trekking poles are always helpful.\n \n\nFOOD & DRINKS\nAlw
 ays make sure you have enough drinking water. 1.5-2 litters should be enoug
 h for the day. Please make sure to bring snacks - sandwiches\, dried fruit
 \, sweets. They will help you maintain your energy level until late lunch.
